Welcome to the first in our series of new blogs from Geek Corner to keep you updated on all things shop, stock and geek news related!
In this weeks blog we are talking Sunny Con Anime Expo, Anime stock and more!
Sunny Con Anime Expo 2023
Sunny Con 2023, where to start? Sunny Con has always been a favourite here at Geek Corner, more like a working holiday due to our own interests in Anime, than a real weekend of work.
Friday set up was nice and easy with a late open at 12noon meaning we all arrived fresh and ready to go!
From the minute the doors opened costumers and anime fans alike flocked into the halls of St James' Park (They play football there too, im told) and people were immediately drawn to our Magic the Gathering and Pokemon Cards!
From that point on the weekend was a whirlwind of talking to people, treating ourselves to some stunning items from other vendors and selling our amazing range of stock.
Thank you Sunny Con, for yet again, another amazing event!
Stock Updates
Fresh back from Sunny Con we ensured we had stock to fill the shelves of the store, and nothing is more popular than our range of anime and manga! So this week's spotlight is on our new anime range - bigger and better than ever before!
Demon Slayer
We now have a wide range of Demon Slayer figures in stock from the new Hikkake ranges to more collectible pieces such as our absolutely stunning Nezuko Kamado 21cm Advancing Form statue.
We also have access to a wide range of Demon Slayer manga, if you don't see the issue you need you can always email us and we can get them in stock within 2 weeks!
Spy X Family
Spy X Family is an ever popular series, with Anya and her infamous facial expressions, and cute family slice of life with a twist pushing the popularity of this show into one of the most popular shows of 2022.
Our personal favourite of this range is the adorable Spy x Family Puchieete PVC Statue Anya Forger Renewal Edition Original Ver. 14 cm at just £30.00!
My Hero Academia
Are you holding out for a hero? Then look no further than our range of My Hero Academia merchandise and figures!
We have figures of all your favourites, as well as pop figures and minitaure blind keychains, but our favourite statue is this Banpresto Shoto Todokri Super Masters figure in grey tones - defintiely a stand out piece and surprised us on arrival in both size, and quality!
